En Route to Birchwood, Action! - September 18, 2015

- FOST gather their horses readied by the mayor's men

- T sits in front of O on the younger horse while F is in front on her mother

- T names the filly Sweetheart and S names her horse Tripoli

- T & O do a lot of talking, F's face definitely shows that she wishes they would shut up

- 3 or 4 days later while traveling through some rocky, hilly Country - F spots a Couple of large circling birds up ahead

- S notices that have horns or possibly antlers

- T cries ''Perytons!" and they attack

- Battle!

- S misses with Melf's Acid Arrow giving Pl only 5 acid dmg

- T misses P1 with Guiding Bolt

- P1 dives at S and claws with its talons her for 14 piercing dmg

- F misses P1 with her longbow

- P2 dives at T and claws her for 10 piercing dmg and then bites her for 10 more piercing dmg

- O slings a bullet at P1 for 10 bludgeoning dmg

- Tripoli runs and trips on her reins while Sweetheart manages to run without tripping

- S casts Scorching Ray on P1 missing then again for 7 fire dmg then misses P2

- T casts Guiding Bolt at P1 radiating it to DEATH

- F hits P2 for 7 piercing dmg
- P2 misses T with its talons but still manages to bite her for 6 piercing dmg
- O misses with his next bullet
- Sweetheart runs away some more
- S deals 15 force dmg to P2 with Magic Missile
- T casts Cure Wounds on herself regaining 12 HP

- F misses with her longbow

- P2 completely misses T (Whew!)

- O misses with his sling again

- Sweetheart runs away some more
- S hits P2 for 8 force dmg with Magic Missile again
- T shoots P2 with her Crossbow for 10 piercing dmg killing it

- Calleigh declares T (her character) the MVP for getting both kills

- S suggests eating the perytons after T casts Purify Food and Drink on the meat

- F catches and calms Sweetheart while S butchers the Perytns - She finds a large egg in each of the bird(?)'s cloacae - the shells are too thick to see through so S just bakes them in the coals while she stews the meat

- The next morning we crack open the first egg and it has a blood red yolk - the other had a partially formed baby monster which O eats happily (Ew!)

- S experiments with The Hand a bit, and the others are creeped out by it

- FOST pack up and hit the road again

- Midday about 2 days north of Birchwood - F hears some sort of banging ahead - it sounds kind of like fighting

- S scouts ahead to peek around the bend in the road

- A group of goblinoids attacking a wagon being defended by 3 men
- FST tie up the horses leaving O to guard them and run to help the men

- Battle!

- Man1 - readies the attack action

- S casts Magic Missile and deals 7 force dmg to Goblin 2 and 3 force dmg to G1

- G2 shoots a shortbow at S for 4 piercing dmg then moves towards the wagon

- Hobgoblin1 shoots M1 with a shortbow for 6 piercing dmg

- T misses the Bugbear with Guiding Bolt

- BB charges T and swings a morningstar but misses

- F Moves to flank BB but misses with her long sword

- G1 runs up to M1 who swings at him and misses while the G1 slashes him taking him down

- H2 moves to and attacks T with his longsword but misses

- H3 moves to and attacks F with his longsword but misses

- S deals 12 force dmg to the BB with Magic Missile

- G2 shoots T for 7 piercing dmg

- H1 moves to flank F but misses her

- T Casts Bless on FST
- BB swings at F and misses
- F slashes BB for 11 dmg
- G1 misses T with his bow
- H2 moves to flank T and misses

- H3 slashes F for 7 dmg

- S deals 11 force dmg to BB with MM killing it

- G2 misses F with his bow

- T casts Spiritual Weapon next to H1 dealing 8 force dmg to it then misses H2 with Sacred Flame

- F disengages and moves to flank H2 with T then slashes him for 13 dmg killing it

- H3 Moves to S and slashes her for 11 dmg

- S casts Burning Hands at H3 and H1 dealing 14 fire dmg to H3 and H1 takes 7 fire dmg - both die

- G2 runs away

- T moves her SW and herself towards G1 and then hits him with Sacred Flame for 1 radiant dmg

- S hits G2 and G1 with MM killing them

- Sharai definitely the MVP of this battle

- T scrambles up to the guard and begins healing him

- Two injured men crawl out from under the wagon - T "I'll get to you in a minute!"

- The girls agree to help the men get to Birchwood by lending them a horse for their wagon as one was killed by the goblinoids 

- The well-dressed man is named Tyron Hiram, the guard who was standing on the wagon at first is Wilbur Hicks and the other guard who was injured before FST arrived is Lee Trent

- Tyron flirts with F and she is creeped out

Get Your Haggle On - September 11, 2015

- A couple of days later back at the Lonely Mare inn in Winthrop - T asks innkeeper how to get to the Sapphire river from here - The Cham is closer
- The plan is to buy 2 horses and have the elves double-up on one of them while O and T share the other - the estimated time to get to the Cham from here is 19 days
- T asks the innkeeper where they could buy a couple of horses - the Mayor
- Mayor is drinking fire whiskey at one of the tables
- T does her usual spiel about the GTTT and then says she wants to buy horses to travel faster
- HAGGLING!

- The mayor is willing to sell a young filly who is young enough to have just finished her training as well as her mother who has gotten too old to breed any more

- In the end they bargain to buy the filly for 70GP and the mare for 50GP with some old, worn tack in need of repair.

- We then spend a long time OOC brainstorming and listing things that might happen during our long journey as a resource for the DM.

- The mayor agrees to stable our new horses overnight for no extra charge and have his stable hands ready the horses for them in the morning.

- FST haul the saddles back to the inn where T spends an hour or so Mending (cantrip) them until them look almost new. She walk with O (talk pack mule) back to the mayor's stables to give the ostlers the tack for in the morning.

The Orc Caverns - September 4, 2015

- No one has been mountain biking in 5 months.
- Nobody remembers any additional bits to add after last week's data loss.
- We're all glad Jeremiah did not throw the kind of blob that splits into 2 when it takes slashing dmg.
- FST decide to "sleep" during the day , but an Orc who is not Orgul sticks his head into the room and S sees him seeing them and wakes up F
- S & F sneakily follow the scout and attack him from behind
- S hits him for 14 force dmg with Magic Missile.
-  F hits him for 7 slashing dmg killing him
- They drag him back to the room and throw him into the goo pile that is all that remains of the blob
- They go back to sleep and the rest of their long rest passes uneventfully
- F sneaks down their offshoot until she can hear creatures moving around in the main hallway - she sneaks back to report
- They wait about an hour and the F tries again this time she hears a scream and ''Me no know anything!" - it sounds like Orgul
- FST sneak back to the 3-way fork - it seems to be Coming from the path directly ahead of them
- They sneak down that tunnel and see an empty holding cell and then another one this time with Orgul being kicked by another orc
- S hits Orgul's aggressor for 14 force dmg and the F puts an arrow in his neck
- F reaches through the bars and grabs the keys
- T dashes over and immediately begins trying to calm him, but she accidentally kneels on an injury making start to sob again
- S still can't tell directionally where the Hand is located
- T tells F & S about her new abilities , but they decide to wait and use them for now
- S sneaks to the next little offshoot and it looks like their armory

- ''He wasn't even wearing pants! Very unprofessional!"
- The girls continue around the bend in the tunnel until they come to a hard corner - F & S hear growls that sound like wolves
- S peeks around the corner and locks eyes with one of the two orcs standing at the top of a pit containing 4 wolves

- Battle!
- O2 - th rows a dart-thing @ sthe and does 7 piercing dmg
- S casts Melt's Acid Arrow @ 02 -deals 25 acid drug - he dies
- W4 moves to S - bites @ her but misses
- W3 Moves to S - bites her forq piercing dmg - she falls prone
. T Casts Spiritual Weapon adjacent to 01/W4/W3 - it misses W3 - she then casts silence behind her to keep the sounds of battle from carrying up the tunnel
- F slashes W4 for 15 slashing dmg - killing it
- W1  moves to F but misses biting her
- W2 bite F for 5 piercing dmg - and she falls prone
- 01 - throws dart at T and misses
- S - casts Burning Hands - W3 takes 5 fire dmg. Wl takes 11 fire dmg - W2 takes 5 fire dmg - 01 takes 11 fire dmg
- W3 bites @ S for 7 piercing dmg
- T - SW @ W3 for 5 force dmg then casts Bless on girls
- F slashes W1 for 18 dmg killing it

- S asks O how many orcs are in the cave - Golag somewhere and have guards
- S gives O some travel rations
- Down the last corridor we get to another 3-way fork, but this time the L and R have doors
- S listens at the Rdoor and hears nothing . F hears nothing - T hears footsteps
- S listens to the L door - F picks the lock - this room is a nice (by orc standards) with a large orc (Golag) sleeping
- FST enter the room after T casts Silence on the door as a ritual
- G wakes up as the door latches closed
- G shouts "To arms!" and his guards (2) come from a hidden passage

- Battle!
- O1 throws a dart @ F - deals 7 piercing dmg
- S casts Melf's Acid Arrow @ G

- FST defeat Golag and his guards.
- The secret passage leads to the outside on the far side of the hill.
- The main hallway ends in a door with the symbol of Chemosh. There is a gastly temple with blood speay on the walls. The Hand is on the altar in the center of the room.
- A takes the hand, avoiding touching it with her handkercheif, and stows it in her backpack.
- Girls take secret passage to the outside where Talathon is lurking, "You may have beaten me to the hand, but you won't beat me to the others."
