Back Story

- doesn't remember her parents
- was kidnapped by slavers at a very young age, around the human equivalent of 4 years old
- group of urchins took her in after they freed the slavers' youngest captives
- some of the urchins were also kidnapped and escaped the slaving band to get their revenge
- the urchin gang used the tiny children as bait setting them up as beggars, and then pick-pocketing the marks
- As an elf, Felosyal aged much more slowly than the human children, so she had plenty of time to practice both sides of the system.
- Another elvish youngling named Mella, who is the equivalent to a human 12 year old, takes the then called Fayla, as her particular partner and defends her against some of the other kids who are less team oriented.
- After several decades of wandering the streets of Arrandale, Mella eventually takes the name Mialee Amastacia and gets a proper job with the city guard, leaving Fayla to her own devices.
- A few more decades pass, and Fayla has chosen the name Felosyal Naïlo and has made a bit of a name for herself as a thief when she misjudges a mark and gets caught in the middle of a house job.
- After only a few days of sitting in the jail, a magistrate approaches Felosyal and offers her a pardon if she will help the war effort against the orcs as a spy. She takes the offer.
