Hedrimond

History

The kingdom of Hedrimond was formed at the beginning of the Fourth Age and has survived for 327 years.

From 4A324 to 4A327, the kingdom was devastated by the campaigns now referred to as the War of the Ten Clans.

Government

Hedrimond is ruled by a council consisting of representatives called Ruires from each of the seven noble households. These houses are:

Crest of House Arnell

The House of Arnell holds the region of Hedrimond in the northeastern corner of the country on the eastern coast. The Shiverskin Forest of the Elven Lands is to the north, House Breland lands and the Spiketooth Ridge form the western boundary, and House Kolstad holdings are to the south.





Crest of House Berg

The House of Berg holds the region of Hedrimond in the southerwestern corner of the country. The lands of House Gimdur and House Monhal are to the north, Rhoanor forms the western boundary, the Cobalt Gulf is to the south, and House Kolstad holds the lands to the east.





Crest of House Breland

The House of Breland holds the region of Hedrimond in the central northern part of the country. The forests of the Elven Lands are to the north, Rhoanor forms the western boundary, the Cobalt Gulf is to the south, and House Kolstad holds the lands to the east.





Crest of House Dalen

The House of Dalen holds the region of Hedrimond in the northwestern corner of the country. The Elven Lands are to the north, Rhoanor and the Hopeless Highlands form the western boundary, the lands of House Gimdur are to the south, and House Breland holds the lands to the east.





Crest of House Gimdur

The House of Gimdur holds the region of Hedrimond in the central western part of the country. The lands of House Dalen are to the north, Rhoanor forms the western boundary, the lands of House Berg are to the south, and House Mondhal holds the lands to the east.





Crest of House Kolstad

The House of Kolstad holds the region of Hedrimond in the southeastern corner of the country on the eastern coast. The lands of Houses Berg and Arnell are to the north, the Cobalt Gulf forms the western boundary, the ocean is to the south and east.





Crest pf House Mondhal

The House of Kolstad holds the region of Hedrimond in the central part of the country and is the only House to have no borders with foreign lands. The lands of Houses Breland are to the north, the lands of House Gimdur form the western boundary, the lands of House Berg are to the south and the Spiketooth Ridge form the eastern boundary.
