Back Story
Robin was born into the house of Morgan -- who have been famous soldiers in the kingdom of Hedrimond ever since its founding at the beginning of the Fourth Age -- in Birchwood in 4A292 as the first child of Reginald Morgan, the army's Five-Star General at the time. Needless to say, she and her 11 younger brothers (whose names all start with "R") were all trained to be soldiers since they could walk. She worked hard and rose through the ranks, especially after her father died in 4A320 (he'd expressed his great pride in her achievements and bid her continue in his footsteps); Robin got up to the rank of Captain before the War of the Ten Clans began. In that war, she led a company of 1,000 men, most of whom died in the Battle of Birchwood along with her mother and 9 of her brothers. (Her two youngest brothers, Roger and Russell, have yet to be found.)
After the bittersweet victory of the final battle, the Battle of the Cracked Skull where Ozenol the Skullcleaver was finally defeated, Captain Morgan returned home to find ten fresh graves on her family's land and all of Birchwood, her hometown, in ruins. In her grief, she quickly found herself disillusioned with war and its supposed merits, in which she'd invested her entire life, and left the Hedrimond Army and changed her primary deity from Kiri-Jolith to Sirrion. She even went so far as to alter her pious tattoo.
In the months following the end of the war, Robin could be found at the Laughing Dog Tavern, drinking and getting into fights not far from it. Despite her mixed feelings toward war (what with marching her men to their deaths in Birchwood), she still really loves showing off her fighting prowess because that's all she's really good at. This doesn't exactly make her the most attractive possible mate to most humans, however, as she's more man than most men and thus makes a terrible woman. On the other hand, to others of the house of Morgan, she's a hot commodity, though she has refused every suitor who has come her way thus far, much to the disappointment of her family at large, especially as she's nearing the age of infertility.
